Grassroots Reconciliation Dialogue Sessions: Shalanbood and CeelJaalle

On 3rd to 6th and 8th to 11th of September 2018, HLDI carried out to implement two dialogue sessions in Shalanbood and CeelJaale respectively where 100 persons (76 male and 24 female) were invited to attend the Dialogue workshop.
The Dialogue was meant to engage the two warring clans living in Shalanbood and CeelJaale in supporting reconciliation efforts as a means to reduce the current clan conflicts in the area.
The participants shared ideas and views on peace building, solutions to conflicts as well as their problems and needs. Participants debated to work together, show respect for each other’s different views.
